5 Minute Meditation for Anxiety- Generate Peace & Relaxation in your Body

Take 5 minutes out of your day to drop out of you head and into your body. This short 5 minute meditation includes a body scan, relaxaing music and aims to bring peace. and reduce stress in your busy day

When stress and anxiety creep up on you, try this gentle 5 minute meditation to help you release challenging emotions stored in the body, and bring you back to a feeling of peace.

Using a somatic body scan, we gently place our awareness on the different parts of the body which need relaxation and breath, before moving into the heart.

The music will help bring about feelings of relaxation and peace. A body scan helps us to drop out of the overthinking mind and back into our bodies. Building sensitivity to the sensations in our body helps us to come back to the present moment, avoiding the endless mental analysis in the head.

Take 5 minutes and listen wherever you can…. the bathroom, on the train, in your bedroom, wherever you can find 5 minutes of privacy. Enjoy and I hope this brings you some relaxation!
