Embodiment Practice to Reconnect to your Body and it’s deep Wisdom
When we purposefully engage in physical movement, it is so often with the aim of getting somewhere, of achieving a goal.
We move the body to lose weight, burn calories, build muscle. And all that’s great. And even the mental health benefits of exercise are profound and undeniable.
However there is a time for moving the body, not to achieve anything, but to just let it move, flow and lead. Non-linear movement, not dancing, not exercising. Just putting on some music, and letting it move the way it wants to.
And it may not be pretty. But just moving your body, circling the hips, stretching the lower back and swaying can really help release stuck emotions and tensions.
And beneath here, when you have let the body release and lead, you will often find a deep level of peace, unexplainable joy and profound presence.
This 5 minute meditation has no aim other than to be with your body, and reach that state of peace which is always there. I hope you enjoy <3
