What is Somatic Healing?
Somatic healing is a whole-body approach that goes beyond traditional therapy & coaching by recognizing the deep connection between the mind and body. Through trauma-informed, somatic techniques grounded in awarenesss, breath work, heart focused exercises, mindfulness, movement, soundand more, you can uncover unconscious patterns that influence how you think, feel, and behave.
This awareness allows you to release tension, calm your nervous system, and make choices that are aligned with your authentic self. With gentle guidance and supportive practices, somatic work helps you build resilience, presence, and clarity, creating lasting change from the inside out.

I’m Christina Shakelian, member of the Institute of Complementary Therapies and Association of Coaching and certified by the School of Embodied Arts
My work combines a somatic, body-focused approach with over a decade of experience in corporate coaching at Apple.
I support people in releasing the stuck tensions, emotions, and limiting beliefs that hold them back, and in moving toward a more grounded, fulfilling, and thriving life. This work is rooted in body-based, somatic techniques and nervous system regulation—not just mental analysis—so change can be felt, embodied, and sustained.
I work with people who feel disconnected from their bodies and instincts. Many feel stuck in their heads and are seeking practical, compassionate ways to release mental and emotional tension, anxiety, and stress. They’re often driven by a desire for clarity, purpose, and emotional resilience, and are open to more holistic ways of creating meaningful change.
When I discovered and trained in Somatic Healing, I found that when I learned to listen to my body, process emotions, and work somatically, everything shifted—my relationships deepened, decisions became clearer, and I reached my goals with far greater ease. Today, through somatic practices, I use these techniques daily to tune out the noise and tune into what feels true and aligned in my life, relationships, and work.
